yeah seems exactly like a uncut blackish but the family has more money

thats my only downside about it.. we already seen these 8 episodes before on black-ish/grown-ish.

i was even reading an article and it seems Rashida convinced him to take the role cause she was like there's already somebody playing you. Do you want another person playing you.. just play yourself..

I am sick of the constant dude.. i have no idea what slang that it..

i was shocked seeing Tyler Perry cussing ..

its just ok to me. Bascially r rated blackish but kenya is nowhere near as good as anthony. Dont really like the kids either. Kinda just something to watch for me honestly. Not a bad show though. Just not hilarious

so you saying Anthony is better at playing Kenya than Kenya is at playing himself.. LOL

Finished it. Overall i liked it.
I felt they really got a storyline flow going with the later eps.
Hope they continue that direction in the 2nd season. Also hope they break away from themes that blackish has already touched on and expand more out of that so it can stand alone. Maybe even take a storyline of him trying to write his next show or movie something like that. Have the kids get into some fukkery (Chloe gotta get arrested for something :pachaha: ) etc

Show aint perfect but it's definitely not as bad as folks making it out to be. I think people had missed expectations more than anything.

thats the problem with Kenya .. Black-ish was his family story and so is this... But with black-ish having new showrunners the themes may drift from Kenya but it already has over 100 episodes of Kenya's life... only thing BlackAF can provide is the uncut unhappy ending versions .. like Kenya filing for divorce

Agreed. Episode #5 is definitely a turning point in the show, and the show comes into its own in the last half of the season. I also appreciate the complicated dynamic between Kenya and his wife: their love, resentment, jealousy, competitiveness, and search for identity within the "power black couple."

thats ends with Kenya filing for divorce .. it only a matter of what season

The scene in episode 5 where he gets all of those black content creators together on video call is one of the funniest scenes ever to me. they basically shytting on each others content :mjlol: and all of them didn't fukk with Green Book.

another thing i still think is weird is he picked rashida jones of all mixed broads to play the wife. I feel like she's basically only played to her white side her whole career so her speaking for black women is just weird for me. This more of a kidada role than rashida.
