Cops have had people toss their keys out the window for much less or they would reach in and grab the keys.
This cop knows she drove away once before. Guess what he does? He leaves the scene and driver totally unsecured which allows her to drive away again.
How did this happen? He is busting out a window to grab a 14 year old.
What is the other cop doing? Shooting at a car full of children.
I have friends doing centuries, so its hard to understand why anyone would love the police as much as you guys do. Especially when this simple traffic stop was handled so poorly.

The cops should not have shot at the van under those circumstances. He was trying to shoot the tires out, I assume (I hope?).
The mother should be fukking ashamed of herself. You don't just casually drive away from the cops when you've been told to sit there and turn the engine off. Seriously, when has that ever been appropriate to do? The 14 year old getting out of the car was just instinct. I don't necessarily blame him, even though he should know better. He's lucky not to be dead as dudes have been straight up shot for much less. I'll chop that up as a misguided attempt to protect his mother.

No shyt Sherlock. If you're attacking me and being violent while I'm trying to do my job, I'm going to fight back. Especially if you are a male and pose more of a physical threat than the woman.
And you're right, they shoulda spent less time going after him. Shoulda just shown no mercy and tasered him from jump when he interfered with a lawful arrest/traffic stop. Damn sure his mama wouldn't have thought to flee the scene then.
Knew it. Broad is dumb as fukk. They wasn't even about to search the car obviously but she wanted to be extra.
Did he really have time to take the keys out of the car? He was on the passenger's side when he told her the first time and she drove off.
The second time, from the drivers side he was trying to get her out the car. Finally got her out and was attempting to arrest her and that's when she tried to run back to the car. He chased her and that's when the son got out and the scuffle happened. During that, she hops back in the car and locks the door. The son gets away from the cops and runs back in the car and locks the doors. By this time all doors are locked and that's whey they started bashing in the window.
What cop would think a mother in a mini van with her 5 kids would flee anyway?
