To reiterate so people know..How can you say all of that and you dont even know her brotha.
I was talking in terms of the suck a black man dry thread which was terrible, the harriet tubman 20 bill, and the iron man into a black woman thingy.
since this is coming from a black woman towards bettering relationships between black men and black women and towards offering emotional support during a trying time..and not from white society like the previous things I mentioned (which are obvious symbolic ploys), I support this 100%.

I like this...these are the kinds of things that women need to be doing during times of crisis. Not out on the streets after dark staring down police officers. That's something that our men should be doing exclusively, and we should be legally carrying arms while doing so. One issue I have with all of these "protest" is how effeminate they are.

I want real unity, not symbolism though. I want things that will last not something that was a response to tragedy because if prior actions so terrible as the last week had to happen for you to understand how brothers/sisters have been feeling it isn't going to last. This is kind of like when families come together when someone gets sick and act like they love each other and they got each others backs only to keep it up for a week before the calls checking up on each other slowly fall off and they start whispering about each other behind their loved ones backs.
Don't only love me when I'm getting beat down or being used as a shield, love me when I extend my love to you, be cordial when I'm cordial with you, respect me as I respect you at all times not just when my life is at risk, simply put love me throughout the day not just during parts of it.
Sidenote:
I do agree with the sentiment and encourage it among our younger boys and kids, they need to know love and experience it within our group so they can thrive and not grow up with hatred.
