My cousin lived there for a few years and loved it. I asked him what it was like being black there and he said that older people can be xenophobic at times but he didn't feel any explicit cism. Keep in mind he had no interest in Japan or knew much about the culture. He went there on a whim.

Again this is why everyone wanted outsiders to come in. I'm disappointed the DOJ didn't take over the case. As I said, one of the biggest coverups in my lifetime.
Brotha I have no faith in the DOJ. Them kats wasnt gonna do nothing but release a report. Like I have said many times the only time the DOJ has ever done something in recent years in when Bush Sr. called them in after the LA riots. They found them officers guilty and tried them.
Also like I mentioned before. This adminstration had the DOJ press charges on Barry Bonds and take him to court. While at the same time dropping charges on Lance Armstrong.
I would argue the only reason the DOJ came down to Ferguson was to calm the black folks up. Nothing more....no one got time and they all were allowed to retire and get their pension. All that talk by the administration was to calm folks down.

It's not about the DOJ as much as it's about getting it out of the Police hands. The only way we will ever get justice is by an independent investigation. Police can not be trusted to investigate themselves. I know the DOJ is B.S. cause they didn't bring charges on Zimmerb!tch or in the Mike Brown case. But in both of those cases the police did the investigation first before the DOJ came in. As long as police continue to investigate themselves we can't expect them to find themselves guilty.
