You're saying I should stay here until this country fixes it's racial issues? I worked very hard so he didn't have to worry about the shyt I had to growing up in Newark. Blacks and Latinos killing each other because of the fukked up situation they're brought up in and all kinds of depressing shyt. If you do make it out you're now in an all white town where you're neighbors don't like you and police harass you at the drop of a dime even though they already know you live in the town. Do you think its mentally healthy seeing shyt like this happen every other day and them get away with it with no fukk given? Do you know how difficult it is for me explaining this stuff to him? We marched/protested together when the Mike Brown shyt happened and look how many incidents have happened since then. What am I supposed to tell him when he asks me if we protested in vein because all this shyt still keeps happening? Do black men in Canada have to worry that every interaction with a police officer could be your last day on this earth depending on that cop's mood?
