What happened towards the end of McCarthy's tenure in Green Bay? Did they just need a new voice?

1. New voice needed, never updated the playcalling
2. Perceived issue with Rodgers relationship post NGCCG meltdown
3. Also of note, much harder practiced and never adapted to the post CBA NFL. Injuries to key groups were a huge thing under McCarthy and were consistent. My guess is Lafleur doesnt do contact in practice for certain players since we are practically always healthy
4. Preached running the ball but once the lead evaporated so did that mindset. Lafleur is light in the pants but Aaron Jones finally got his fair share of touches this year

Its not all Baker. Browns fans seemed to dislike his decision making
all that I've seen from baker this season is that he fell into the offseason trap. dude hardly worked on his game and his weaknesses didn't get put on full display until this season started already. bad coaching/bad OL/playcalling.

I still saw all the things that made me think he was a franchise qb last year, but those moments were for quarters at a time and never for a full game this year. if anyone is a fan or payed close attention to the browns this year. the coaching has been horrible from the top down. I'd argue not one player progressed this year except chubb and garrett and those two did it on talent alone. almost every player regressed:wow:

DIdnt think they would have the unmitigated gall or audacity. Of course, Lincoln Riley will get tossed around. Even more so now after his team got tossed around which will have many wondering if he would tuck tail and run back to Baker in the league. However, I’m more inclined to think McCarthy might get a shot. Think he was pretty close last time and he is still known as an offensive mind and a year away from the light wash some of that recent stench off. Not to mention, the way Aaron has played this year at time kind of gives him some retro justification.
