I can't make threads yet but ...

Check out 'Inside No.9'. It's a similar concept of different stories with a twist each episode all centered around No.9 whether it be a house number, restaurant, office etc. quite often with a dark twist. 3rd series just finished this week. More comedic at times due to it being written by the team behind 'The League Of Gentlemen' & 'Psychoville'.

Yes, even though I never watched dead set because I generally dislike anything with zombies in it. You've seen a Touch of Cloth? It's this spoof on british detective shows, each "season" has two episodes so it are basically three movies. It's filled to the brim with puns one of the funniest things I've ever seen
