IMO Seasons 1 & 2 > 3.
Season 3 didn't suck, but it was much more overt than the first two which threw the vibe off. First two seasons you didnt know what the hell was going on till the end.

I liked season 2 more than 1, but I agree that 3 was lacking.
Also feel the use of american settings causes s problem.
I liked White Christmas but White Bear was so shocking.
yeah when the 1st episode of season 3 started I said to my girl if this too Americanized it won't be as the first two.

Check out 'Inside No.9'. It's a similar concept of different stories with a twist each episode all centered around No.9 whether it be a house number, restaurant, office etc. quite often with a dark twist. 3rd series just finished this week. More comedic at times due to it being written by the team behind 'The League Of Gentlemen' & 'Psychoville'.
