Had to finish season 3 in preparation for this. The episode where that kid gets caught on camera jerking off. :russ:

#TeamNoFap wins again. :wow:

EDIT: I hadn't got to the point where they revealed it was child porn. :whoa:

Probably the worst overall season of Black Mirror despite having the best episode of all of them in Black Museum. I can see it being more and more difficult to get creative with the story devices (technology etc) because a lot of the tech ideas in these were almost remixed tech ideas from previous episodes.

Black Museum
Hang the DJ
USS Callister
Arkangel
Crocodile
Metalhead
nah
they're fine.

Oh, she got caught? That certainly changes things for me.

If that facility for white bear still exists, then her ass is definitely going there.

the more I think about metalhead the more I hate it. this woman had a nickname for the machines "dogs" meaning she encountered them already or at least knew they were out there. Yet every time it catches up to her she completely shocked and confused? Why did nobody have weapons? Why were they not wearing some kind of armor/helmet for the shrapnel? Why does this episode exist?

Honestly metalhead is one of the stories that could use some sort of prologue. The risk is far too fukking high for the intended reward, which made me feel bitter about the whole thing, and we have no idea why the dogs exist or their purpose. Its like the terminator, without finding out it's from the future, or that it intends to kill Sarah Connor to fukk up the future for the humans, just a t-800 running around fukking up humans

West where the Sunsets
3 eps down. Season started strong with the first ep, but these last 2 were meh.

Arkangel was all right. The Psycho bytch ep was forgettable.

Hopefully the season finishes on a high note.

Apparently it's another one of those scenarios in which robots have taken over and are now dispatching the weak, fleshy humans (though is this global, merely regional? It isn't explained). It's supposed to be playing off of drones (a scene was actually cut of them being remotely operated by someone), and the particular design is based on something that actually exists in the here and now, as someone posted a few pages back. Things have gotten so bleak, that her and the others risked their lives for a toy to put a smile on a kid's face, a momentary distraction from their existence of trying to survive against the "dogs." But as you say, we have no idea how the current situation came to be. Were they originally security guard dogs and branched out (technology gone out of control and evolved past their original purpose), what?

Star Trek episode was piff. the implant with the kid episode was trash and predictable. the last episode was meh as well. the whole season was trash.

Anything the mainstream touches turns into trash tbh. Black Mirror was a gem before it hit Netflix.

We get one classic episode per season, 2 meh episodes and 2 trash episodes.

Shut and Dance and Star Trek>

No Whammies!!
That Hang the DJ song was so catchy at that point in the episode so I looked up the video.

Breh doing the
full
in the video

:mjlol:

I like the "Hang the DJ"/Panic song, but it you look up the story around it...well...:mjpls:...

Morrissey's views on black people and music...

"Reggae, for example, is to me the most racist music in the entire world. It's an absolute total glorification of black supremacy... There is a line when defense of one's race becomes an attack on another race and, because of black history and oppression, we realise quite clearly that there has to be a very strong defence. But I think it becomes very extreme sometimes."
"But, ultimately, I don't have very cast iron opinions on black music other than black modern music which I detest. I detest Stevie Wonder. I think Diana Ross is awful. I hate all those records in the Top 40 - Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston. I think they're vile in the extreme. In essence this music doesn't say anything whatsoever."
Interviewer: You seem to be saying that you believe that there is some sort of black pop conspiracy being organised to keep white indie groups down.

Moz: "Yes, I really do."
:mindblown:
