Considering that black women have the lowest interracial relationship rates and most have preferences for black men, I would say black men are the only men a majority of black women are interested In. :yeshrug:They may put questionable black men on the pedestal aka players and thugs and ballers but they are black men nonetheless.

well, they certainly dont have the lowest IR stats for lack of trying. BW are extremely aggressive towards IR dating, its just not reciprocated by other races of men

but lets go with the loyalty card, BW are just sooo damn loyal to the black man. considering all of the complaints made about us, (we're bums, we're deadbeats, we cant compete with WM financially, etc) why ARE BW loyal to BM?
because my guess is its because BM are the only matriarchal chumps dumb enough to allow women to lead.

Yup when they think curly natural hair what they don't tell you is that they really mean this

NOT this

Then got the nerve to be talking about natural hair when most shave themselves practically bald, so that they don't have to "deal" with it. Then the ones with long natural hair are like "well I did it why can't you"? Knowing damn well that they only wore one style for 3 years, and barely touched their hair. Something people would call women crazy for doing. It'll be "why don't you switch your style up" and "you should change your hair". Manipulation is the mortal enemy of natural hair, and when women find a low manipulation hairstyle (weave) it's a problem? Then the big elephant in the room... blacks have been told that their hair is less than, unkempt, unprofessional, and a whole other host of negative things for centuries. Of course some people are going to believe that indoctrination. But, no let's worry about women who don't wear their natural hair and make fun of them instead of doing something like educating our people and building a black economy. Oh, and all this Is coming from someone with natural hair. :stopitslime:

This chick is full of sh#t :mjlol:

I'll be honest. If you're like 30 and you been wearing wigs/weave constantly, you should just continue doing so. I seen black women do the "big chop" at that age only to have short & damaged hair. shyt looks like :trash:.

It all starts at home.

I wish they could see how much hair comes out when I have to wash and detangle:mjcry:

Thats why I wash it and put in french braids and save the twist/braid outs for special occasions.

So, doing your own natural hair is a chore?

In your opinion, why is it such a chore for black women but not such a chore for black men who have long, natural hair?

I dont know one black man with ling natural hair that dont have a chick down the road that know how to do hair or a girlfriend, sister, mom auntie that knows how to do hair that takes care of their hair for them. I have never seen a black male unless he was gay with long natural hair do their own hair ever. Not even wash.

Its a picture of me in the hair thread trying to braid my hair (And even after I still wasn't satisfied). shyt took me 1hr30min just to detangle and do 4 braids.

Like someone else said, majority of men with long thick coarse hair isn't taking care of it on their own so of course they have little knowledge of what a woman with similar hair goes thru on a daily to make sure her hair looks presentable

There's nothing black men can do in real sense with black women of age. They've been indoctrinated by white supremacy to hate their hair since the time they were children. I mean, they barely like their skin in some cases.

For grown black women, black men would have to avoid them in the dating pool for any large scale affect to happen. But I don't see that happening en masse. Personally, I don't/won't date women who wear wigs or weave. I wish more brothas would join me. But that's only a wish.

Not to mention, everything they have, get and value is given to them by whites. So, why would they listen to what black men have to say? Many want to look like whom they live under. I been saying this, there aint enough for black men to care about their opinion.

We literally have black women that don't know how to do black hair. They look at their own hair as foreign. The fact that black women "go natural" is scary by itself. How do you "go" back to what you already are?

The only solution, in my opinion, is to be a father to your black daughters. Make natural hair the norm in your household for your daughters. Compliment your daughters on how beautiful their natural hair is. Make it normal and make it the standard.

I don't buy the narrative but carry on.

i agree, why not contact them and get some females to come together to have them lower prices, how about making ur own bw hair care line at a reasonable price (dnt tell me that it cnt be done, many people strt they own businesses look at @ExpensiveThrillz  )

sorry, i've not read through this thread at all but first of all thanks for the shout out. as a small business i'm very sensitive to complaints on prices. people think that we all just sit around and price gouge for no reason when they don't take into account all that goes into production for a final quality product that actually works and thats full of ingredients you can readily identify. I support businesses like Miss Jessies and Shea Moisture because the audience and need for their products isn't small at all. Also, they take care to cater to a target audience which is tricky as hell in the business realm. Too broad and you don't identify with anyone but too narrow and you isolate other potential customers. Personally I had to open my eyes and educate myself about all the stuff I was using on my skin, nails, and hair. The money I thought I was saving was actually going other places to try and fix all the damage that years of poor product choices make on us. For example. I've not worn store bought deodorant for 4-5 months now. Not because I want to be some funky hippie but because i learned about how harmful the store stuff is...all the ingredients are SCARY and have been linked to horrible diseases such as breast cancer and Alzheimer. I wanted to eliminate that toxic shyt from continuously and slowly poisoning my body and I also wanted to heal my discolored and sometimes icky armpits....that lead me to formulate my own batch of natural deodorant to start repairing a part of my body that was suffering for no reason

chemical filled store deodorant + shaving + years of doing these two things daily/weekly = not good. same reasoning should be applied to all products. the skin is the largest organ and treating and nourishing it with quality products may seem expensive on the front end but really is the way to go to reduce having to try and reverse damage later and buy multiple cheaper products that will likely add up to more than what the 1 "expensive" thing was or is

my 2cents

I wish i had the answer for that, but i dont. If its anything i do my own hair. Plus i always encourage my friends to try to at least do their too. They come to me for advice when it comes to natural hair products and do it yourselves. You an ask anyone that knows me lol, i dont play when it comes to my hair. My hair was long when it was permed and its down my back now after two years of being natural. I think a lot if these girls just gotta find what works for them. Its not easy especially cause my hair is fine and dense. Its a nuisance most of the time but i call it my labor of love. So i do what i have to make it look and feel and grow the way i want.
