Black manta originally was a black supremacist so it makes sense for him to have black in the name. Y'all new jack comic book fans should learn y'all history
Dude can act. He was really good in the TV series The Red Road and in this movie called Road to Paloma.
Since when do comic book movies go by what originally happened? He won't be a black supremacist so no need to call him Black Manta.

I'm not sure Mamoa can carry a movie but if they emphasize the action they can make up for what he might lack as an actor.
I like Manta (please drop the Black) and Nate Parker looks close enough to the Young Justice version:

i like the choice, but no, he doesnt need to go for manta...cause he should be john stewart...i've been saying that shyt since day 1...he would kill that role....
