In the bible, when Jesus came back, even his own disciples couldn't recognize him or even believe it until he proved it outright. How'd you assume that in PRESENT time with all sorts of people having their own concept and idea of Jesus going to even START to believe this man is truly the Son of Man? shyt, even in the bible he was crucified due to this fact people refused to believe he was the Son of Man and left for dead with little fan fare.

Great casting, they used John Witherspoon and Charlie Murphy just the right amount.

There is only so much you can do in a 30 min pilot, I'm looking forward to where it goes from here. I could nitpick about a few little things but with there being so few black comedy shows on TV now I hope this one has some legs...

His character is all over the place but someone made a spot on observation how it's an accurate portrayal of how Jesus moved; with the lowlifes and degenerates. It makes sense on that level.

Man this show was funny, had me laughing plenty of times. Folks said McGruder leaving didn't matter with the Boondocks, . This was way better than the last 2 seasons of that show, his influence did matter.

Besides that though the show was just funny all around.

People saying this should be a cartoon is stupid. Should Martin have been a cartoon? What about the Wayans Bros? Its like thats all we (black) can be limited too is cartoons. White people have like 97% of all the shows on tv, with a majority white cast, and people want to throw 1 show in the trash.
