Im not outraged. Im pissed that 97% of the live shows on tv consist of all white if not majority white characters and particularly are aimed at a caucasian demographic. But don't worry, I completely understand how that doesn't bother youWTF are you talking about?

White people have dumb live action shows and dumb cartoon shows, they still air for seasons at a time, and their shows get greenlit and have pilots that get more play on major networks that get canned than black shows that even try to get play. Like I said, I completely understand how that doesn't bother you

You want it to be a cartoon. THEY want it to be a spin off from the SKITS.... if the skits were successful, why in the HELL should they want to change up. Not everything need to be animated.
I suggest it should be a cartoon. That's just my opinion.

Just admit its not the best suggestion. You are entitled to your opinion but, understand that it doesn't really add up. You've seen one episode of a skit you never heard of and say "It would be better as a cartoon"...People in hollywood dont even say that shyt. At best there are movies that have premises that are better fit for a tv series than a full length movie, and vice versa a tv series that would make a dope couple of movies. Where else does your opinion apply that a live action tv show or short (skits, and such) are better suited for animation? It's not even often that animated cuts get the direct transfer to live tv. There are plenty of short projects that make it to tv in slightly different forms like based off of the characters. But the transition from animation to live action or vice versa is rare, unless money has been made (I.e garfield, scooby doo, flintstones, black dynamite) With that logic thats like saying Friends would make a good cartoon or comic strip, or Seinfeld, King of Queens etc.
Now you can admit, and this is what I gather, that you dont like the characters or think the actors are strong enough for their parts. That I get. But to write them off and the entire show saying it should be a cartoon rather than you look at them is stupid.
I believe your beef with the show is that you arent fond of the actors, and I can understand that. If theres any other reason or you stick by your excuse "I just think it would make a better cartoon" then thats on you, I cant say your wrong, but I can state history and TV. Particularly comedy routines get turned into a cartoon but they are short snippets (I.E Bebe's Kids) , this was created as a live action show and to really reinforce what ever type of message or just display comedy and humor through a cartoon is impossible. People would see a black jesus cartoon as they see talking dogs, and inanimate objects talking and walking around, they wouldnt 'believe' it. A cartoons universe is damn near impossible to fit into. Do you feel like your in space if you watch futurama? Do you feel like your in Springfield? Langley Falls, Bikini Bottom, Stoolbend, or Quahog- probably not. To see a black man dressed as jesus, walking around in our world. Things that we can relate to, thats real.
At the end of the day a black jesus cartoon is like the jetsons or flintstones or spongebob. The premise is great but its fake which doesnt mean it cant do well, but the live action is more real and interesting because its less abstract (i.e homer falling down a mountain hitting every rock on the way down or peter getting crushed like an accordion or having his face shot off by a shotgun)
