Like I said I get why they are mad at us sometimes. Most people from the old country are racist to every single ethnic subgroup that isnt theirs, even among indians. To them, I'm not surprised why they're aggy at people coming into their native country and then receiving better treatment from colonial powers than they did. That's fine, I can understand that pain. I can even understand @2Quik4UHoes need to talk up African success in the Indian subcontinent, cus thats how pride works. What I can't cosign with is the tone and lack of acknowledgement and respect they use when discussing my people, as any reasonable man would. You will never see me or you make the sort of socially judgmental threads people make about India about Africa. You will never see me highlighting aspects of African culture and calling them backward, oppressive, or barbaric.
That's why @The Real is one of the few guys I really respect on this board, because no matter the situation he can mentally walk in another man's shoes. Instead of judging, he learns and listens.
lol, well the thread is about African success in India. Siddis are hardly known but have a remarkable history, so yeah I take pride in it. All jokes aside I love Indian culture yall put my people on to Chai and all types of spices thousands of years before this new "Stan anything from India" wave.
