its true. when black men become focused on legacies and passing down generational wealth, they'll see the inherent value of the black womb.

Do you know how silly and idealistic this sounds? Black women lost.its true. when black men become focused on legacies and passing down generational wealth, they'll see the inherent value of the black womb.
collectively, no. black women do not face overt physical oppression. you can bring your exceptions, but most violence from white supremacy is directed towards men.
further more, black women are not bytching about physical oppression when they complain about racism/white supremacy. black women are upset they aren't seen as valuable, beautiful and desirable as white women; and ya know what, GOOD. because you wont get that type of promotion until black men are in a position to give it to you.
do you get it? without a strong black patriarchy, you will never be put on a pedestal, EVER.

Let's look at Nigeria, and their film industry Nollywood. Nigeria is the best performing country in Africa, so it's a great example of this "magical patriarchal" society that AA men dream of. Colorism is rampant in their movies and media. The minds of blacks have been colonized. There will never be a time when black features (especially on women) will be heralded as best even if you all find a way to operate outside of the confines of white supremacy (we aren't exactly trending towards that solution anyway). It's ludicrous to assume that black males receiving power will help the plight of black women, and it's honestly disgusting and dismissive when we have black dominated societies now that suffer from the same problems. All of this is actually getting away from the original point of Amandla's writing anyway.
That's what every other race of man does.. how is it silly and idealistic
Can you dudes ever take responsibility for anything? Black women aren't holding you back. That's on you.its silly and idealistic to believe the quality of BW would automatically increase along sode BM leadership?
as much as i hate one drop ruling and dating out, you have to face facts. most BM are not IR dating. this fear yall have of succesful nikkas running off and uplifting non-blk women, perfectly explains why yall despise the idea of black male leadership. its like WM and BW want to keep nikkas ecomonically crippled, out of fear of us running to the WW.
i didnt say BW were holding us back, but yall definitely loathe the idea of BM empowerment. Can you dudes ever take responsibility for anything? Black women aren't holding you back. That's on you.

Let's say that this is correct why wouldn't black women loathe that? In the context of AA history black women have been treated as men since the beginning. Why should you receive all of the power when we've been through the exact same struggles? That's ridiculous that we've had to work, fight our oppressors, etc., but at the end of the day we still have to sit back, and let men lead to appease the male ego?i didnt say BW were holding us back, but yall definitely loathe the idea of BM empowerment.
its just too bad yall have black boys captive for 18 yrs, feeding them all your matriarchal lessons in irresponsibility and unaccountability.
Of course it's okay now.
The mother in this instance is black and the father is white.
Are Nigerians the same as African Americans?Let's look at Nigeria, and their film industry Nollywood. I don't follow Nollywood like that, so I'll take your word for it.
But if you really believe the bolded... then nikkas lost
