I still fail to see this black women oppression, I don't see what's so oppressed about it. Women are desired of all races, what's the problem? I still think theyre mad they don't have the beauty of being taken care of like some white women have. All thst anger books in and they rent out cuz females don't feel they get the privilege white women get. The "I can make a sex tape and still be a millionaire and have multiple men wanna wife and take care of me" attitude alot of white women get.

Being sexuslly desired and being marriage material I guess is two different things.

I never hear Hispanic or Asian women bytch over this shyt.
Black women as a whole are seen as the least attractive group of women to the majority of men so why would a Hispanic or Asian women complain about these types of things that black women do.

Plenty of us are attracted to Hispanic and Asian chicks hell some even more than black chicks. All women regardless of race what to be desired it's in the nature of a woman. Black women as a whole are the least desired.

Nothing anyone can really do about it as a whole but just try to raise black women with more confidence and self esteem and not seek it by getting attention from a man.

Thoughts?

Been saying this for a minute now.

You will not believe how many times a non-black chick, especially a white chick, will get mad props for having features associated with black women by people off all races.

Meanwhile a black chick who's looks just as good and has the same features will get overlooked like those same people like a mofo. Only black folks for the most part will give her props.

shyt is so :mjpls: for real.

EDIT: The bigger issue really is that we are relying on corporations that have a strong Eurocentric stance and viewpoint to represent us (black women specifically) fairly. We should not rely on that any longer, they will almost always prefer their own over ours. It's only natural.

Depends on the specific African American region but I digress. If nonsense like Amanda Sternberg (however you spell her father's Jewish last name) continues, that number will undoubtedly climb. And then what? Tell me: what happens next? Like I have said in the past, IR relations are not good for black people. Bedwenches and their misbegotten offspring doubly so. It's all ironic.
weren't you just shytting on us in that other thread:beli:

Why do you even care, what difference does it make

I think the bigger picture here is that racial and gender oppression intersect for black women. I mentioned that in the "womanhood" thread in the Salon.

@bcrusaderw I'd really like your input.
I agree with everything she says. I think a reason that some black males don't take intersectionality seriously (hence the replies in this thread) is because as a privileged group they don't see our struggles due to gender. I'm not sure how we change that. Another interesting aspect is black women who don't have the "typical" black female body. They experience the ridicule on both ends.

here we go, back to black male privilege

at the end of the day, having your beauty undermined is the weakest form of oppression imaginable. i understand it means a lot to black women, but you lose all empathy when y'all compare your beauty being attacked to black men being physically attacked.

collectively, no. black women do not face overt physical oppression. you can bring your exceptions, but most violence from white supremacy is directed towards men.

further more, black women are not bytching about physical oppression when they complain about racism/white supremacy. black women are upset they aren't seen as valuable, beautiful and desirable as white women; and ya know what, GOOD. because you wont get that type of promotion until black men are in a position to give it to you.

do you get it? without a strong black patriarchy, you will never be put on a pedestal, EVER.

Yall talking out your ass without knowing the facts
First of all Amandla Stenburg is a mixed girl not no white supremacist like someone else stated
Second, she has a known history of shytting on white girls especially the Kardashians for appropriating black culture
Third, did any of you actually read what she said in that post?
The title is misleading like a mofo. She is calling cacs out for putting down black women and building up cac women all while these same cac women are chasing Afrocentric features.

She needs to drop the fathers surname because of her bedwench mother. Just go with X because any burg is confusing to the message.

How much violence from white supremacy is there really? Most blacks experience violence from other blacks. As for the latter portion of your statements that's crud, and it really isn't part of the argument.
