If she's challenging it then I don't see the problem.

What you posted has nothing to do with that intersectionality bullshyt because whoever wrote that is just makin the point that black women are shyt on in comparison to white women. Racism is the cause of the complaints here, not sexism.I think the bigger picture here is that racial and gender oppression intersect for black women. I mentioned that in the "womanhood" thread in the Salon.
@bcrusaderw I'd really like your input.

She is a young woman of color with a Black mother. She comes from a place of more authenticity when speaking about race and gender then say a Black Man.
So please, hush.
Black men really need to start checking that "intersectionality" bullshyt because there's people who really thinks that nonsense holds weight. "Black women have it twice as bad cause we black and women". Like black men enjoy a privilege for being black men.All people are oppressed in one way or another because of their gender, race, height, attractiveness, etc. Black women are not special in this regard. Black men are also judged for being male and black - but you don't her black men trying to separate themselves from black people because of this fact.
You don't get it. The point is, black women are forgotten and don't matter, being fetishized for our features is one segment of racial/gender oppression we face.
