If race was REALLY that big of a problem, you'd see NO black movies or actors.

It would be difficult. But good marketing can make anything work. So a black sci-fi movie could be successful.
This shyt aint gonna change until either Africa's economy improves or other foreign industries become bigger and a threat to Hollywood and start stealing their audience globally, however that will never happen as Hollywood are just too far ahead to be caught up and are ingrainded all over the world. Studios for example like Nollywood and Bollywood have recently set up shop but they'll never catch up globally. So what do they do?, they cater to the demorgraphic that they believe will bring them in the most money, Nollywood - Nigerians and Bollywood - Indians, the end result is $$$, you wont find that many racially diverse films in these industry's as it most likely wouldn't sell and simply isn't the target audience, this however doesn't mean that people of other races cant watch them as they can. Bollywood remade "The Avengers" filled with "Indian" people and did the same with Mission impossible, Mexico are making an "Mexican Breaking Bad".
Hollywood is run by a bunch of people who see the white demorgraphic as their main audience to cater to both domestically and Internationally, after domestic the money comes in from Europe(Russia, France, Germany, U.K, Italy) the demo's are primarily "white" then followed by Asia and Latin America. Furthermore the Hollywood movies that make $$$$$$ in Asia and Latin America tend to either be big budget sfx driven blockbusters e.g. Avatar, Transformers, The Avengers, Iron Man etc, something "black" movies aren't or led by a world "star" e.g. Depp, Smith, Di Caprio, Pitt etc.
Unless the movie is a biopic or being done by a director with major clout like a "Speilberg" or "Cameron" who could challenge the execs, these hollywood nikkas just aint gonna care and will continue to whitewash movies like they did with "Prince of Persia" and countless others aslong as it brings in the money.

After Earth was a budget black Sci-fi movie. There no white leads and hardly any white characters period to be honest. Will and son and daughter in the movie had all the screen time. Also it was written and produced by a black man and directed by a guy from India. It's no wonder white media critics tried to tear it down. Was it the best movie of the year, no... But it def was entertaining.

Tyler Perry's success proves otherwise. Madea goes to jail did 41 million in its opening weekend. In any given year you will only have a handful of films that can do over 30 million in the first week. If that's not major numbers then I don't know what is.

You are bringing up Tyler Perry and Madea Goes to jail...a modern day minstrel show...of course cacs are going to gobble that up. You must not know the formula for successful movies with black people in it. Most of the time it involves black people c00nin. It usually involved being inferior to cacs (the Help, Butler, Precious, Blindside), corny/c00nin/ratchet (Beverly Hills Cop, Nutty Professor, Hustle & Flow), being crooked (Training Day). Boomerang and Coming to America were among the classiest, most well written, and well acted movies of their eras but whites did not watch it. White critics destroyed Boomerang in their reviews because it showed black professionals living a good life and being fly.
