This has turned into a financial industry version of Entourage. A bunch of rich white people acting douchy. I guess they are supposed to be cool or edgy to middle aged white men. But everything they say, do and wear is so corny and cringy.


Axe power walking into the office with his AC/DC shirt to some 80s pop metal montages.



Wags with his never ending Dennis Miller-esq smart dumb one liners.




Dollar Bill is every lame white guy in the office that you wanted to slap the shyt out of. Talking about “Tiger and Phil” at the water cooler while nobody gives a fukk.


Even the Black girl has no Black friends and drinks Old Fashions and Boiler Makers.



Show is just ultimate white folks douche at this point.

Oh so nooooooow yall wanna say this show is damn near trash.

The Axe/Chuck dynamic made the show. Now the stakes dont seem to be high and Taylor is a very boring character. And then shyt just comes out of nowhere, like her and the black girl making out and fukking. I dont care that they did, but it literally just happened and it didn't add to anything.

There is something odd about making Bobby a protagonist too.

i'm still a couple behind but this season is weird as hell.
used to it being full throttle with Giamatti and Lewis chewing up every scene but its a lot more loose and playfull this season.

Axe is like a cartoon villain this season.
Chuck and his pops are the only characters thats still feels right.

feels like theres no real oomph or real stakes in the Axe vs Taylor stuff.

last one i watched was the episode were Axe set it up that Taylor would need to sell her fathers work to the government.
there was a bit at the start of the episode were they were plotting in the pizza place and the dialog and acting between the 4 of them was so clunky.

oh and they love casting ugly blondes.

It's obvious that they're saving more of the Chuck VS. Axe stuff for later seasons. It's the show's end game.

I feel like the last few episodes have been an improvement upon what I saw near the beginning of the season but I guess that's not saying a whole lot after last season. I see Taylor is turning into Axe basically while Axe is developing a more emotional side (or at least they're trying to make it seem that way).

Taylor hasn't talked about much investing or stocks since they threw her dad in the bushes but she need to step up her ruthlessness if she really wanna get to stomping with the big dogs.

That subplot about McFaee being some kind of mastermind leaking that flagship info was goofy as hell. But, I'm always down for more of the Bonnie Chick even though she just diminished herself letting Dolla Bill touch it in the minivan

Chuck was def out in his Chevy playing Savage Life. nikka tryna barbecue him some Texas swine by any means. I'm sure that mobile voting shyt gon play a part in him taking Jock down.

Did the actress have contract issues? It makes no sense how they built up her and her sister then pretty much wrote them off of the show.

I couldn't stand her ass to be honest, lol. But, they bushed her horribly. . Her whole I had to pull myself up by the bootstraps of my rundown small town so I deserve to be on your level was running real thin after awhile. She was slowly just becoming eye candy.

She has another show coming out though, "Prism", which I'm sure is the 'unofficial' official reason why she bowed out cuz she still seem to be cool with the cast.

I think the deuce is really well done. and they have a great cast. lot of ex-wire actors in it as well.

Not eye candy for me personally, lol. But for awhile, she was the only one showing skin like that outside of Chuck and his S&M bullshyt.

Yeah it's good, especially if you're a fan of slow evolving shows like The Wire.
James Franco plays two characters which was weird at first but he's pretty good at it in my opinion

This is a lost show. Its direction is gone and its now a disaster.

Yeah I still enjoy it but it’s become an empty-calories kinda show for me. That tension between Chuck and Axe for the first few seasons was intense and kept things intriguing. I like that they got goofier last season while keeping the overall battle going between Chuck and Axe, but it's not working trying to pit Taylor against Axe.
