Have you seen the FX/Audience series called Damages? Glenn Close is the star... It's a great show which is right about your alley. Extremely underrated.
Oh yes!!!! Lol... you see my pattern. I watched that show when it was first released years ago. Great show, they had the Madoff storyline . I don’t think there’s a legal or finance show that I’ve missed over the years. The woman who played Glenn Close reminds me of one of the partners I worked for in New York .. looks like her too. Ruthless. My life was like Damages for a 2 yr period. Hostile work environment.She fired me after awhile with a nice departure package tho, I guess she was trying to buy my silence. bc I wasn’t about to get down with her schemes and she would bring me around to try to entice black clients or for dinner purposes (as she put it) one Christmas Eve, i I was at the office by myself til 12:30 on a doc review for pre trial- ahe didn’t let me bring any paralegals on, nothing .. dolo , I ended up finding the info that saved the client against liability. During the time I worked there, had the FBI come to my house, went to my parents house looking for me. I had to go to the FBI offices for briefing/ questioning. Then one of the other Partners that worked in the firm was arrested and went to jail for 2 yrs. crazy.
not all of us are out here watching or care about Game of Thrones, they still could have shown it..
