New season hasn't grabbed me the way it did last season, but I'm interested to see where this ish goes.
I just hate how she wants to be in every matter that goes down at Axe Capital whether big or small. The entire season one she was like "Huh, how come you didn't tell me about this, lets have a session". Then she got the $5 million and Masarati

I know she's a psychiatrist for these brokers, but what does she bring to the table exactly?
When traders and brokers have a series of bad trades which loses money for the firm- which causes them to get depressed- she's the one that brings them back up and gets them focused again. She raises swag levels basically. They show this in the first couple of episodes. Whether you feel this is important or not is up to you

Im not expecting the Wire or Sopranos in terms of writing. I honestly hope to God these guys writing this show arent taking themselves seriously cuz if they are then I could do their fukking job blindfolded.

Back in his mind Axe also transferred the 5 milly so it could fall back on Chuck as bribe (which happened in s2ep1/2)

I find the show entertaing but the writing while provocative and attention grabbing can sometimes be real cheesy. The way they have the characters constantly reiterating their life philosophy in such a telegraphed and unrealistic way is real annoying. U can find ways to show the audience what drives each particulsr character in a much more subtle way. They gotta do away with all the "I do this because.. or Im like this because..." bs. Also the whole aspect of having a careful guy like Axe keeping his rivals gf in his company and keeping contact with her is stupid. The fact that Giamatti was so passive about her stubborness in working for Axe is handled badly too. Id swear she was interested in fukking dude if I was her husband. I do think the androgynous character is interesting and they can use her characters in a lot of different angles
