This guy is trying to be the poster child for atheism. He's a terrible spokesperson and will cause people to either be more religious or treat atheists like shyt.

They really should tell this guy to shut up and build another paypal.

Why would a Zionist billionaire revere Christianity? Let's be adults here

People have been saying this for about two hundred years. Nietzsche most obviously but also people like Gibbon blaming the fall of the Roman world due to the lack of marshal spirit inherent in Christianity.

This is interesting and a bit revelatory by Thiel. For those who don't know his background, his parents were evangelicals or missionaries of some sort from Germany who settled in the nascent Silicon Valley. Peter Thiel has long identified as Christian and a believer in God and defended these beliefs.

However, it has been clear he is a 'defender of the faith' type Christian who does not see its teachings as incompatible with White supremacy.

The fact he is openly blaming Christianity for 'wokeness' essentially may be a heel turn. He is in part channeling German philosopher Oswald Spengler who said Christianity was the mother of Bolshevism due to its compassion for the poor and warning about riches.

Maybe, like many conservatives, he finally sees the teachings of Jesus are at odds with the world he wants. So he'll ditch Jesus. A similar turn to atheism happened with John Derbyshire years ago when he realized being a Christian was incompatible with biological race realist beliefs. So he chose race realism (and got fired by the National Review).

A lot of these people will ditch any cherished belief (God, democracy, etc) if it interferes with how they want their world to be. Troubling.

I think his awkward ass means to say "wokeness" is a more liberal type of Christianity. He is a "Christian" himself but more of the medieval lord type.

Probably just one of those people who buys into Frederick Nietsche philosophy/ideology.

"Nietzsche's idea of the Ubermensch, or the superman, is an idea of humans who create their own values based on their experience of life."

They believe laws and values, and us being brainwashed with those laws and values supress greatness of many men. Almost impossible to be a black man and not agree with this to an extent. But the issue is the indoctrination in general.

He blames Christianity when really its just the cult of the Democrats. Just like its the cult of MAGA. Liberals are "woke" because they have been indoctrinated by liberal ideology. If it was Christianity most of the country would be Republican. Obviously the cult of Christianity is just as bad as these political cults. So the real issue is people not being bought up to be free thinkers. We are bought up to be mindless batteries for the European mostly. He should be careful asking for anything else. The current model works great for the billionaires and those who need to subjugate:respect:
So the Democratic cult is just a newly created form of the word cult by Tariq Nasheed?

This democratic cult has multiple politicians fighting for different things, millions of voters telling the world we don't want Biden and Kamala ain't our first choice, different squads of elected officials like Progressives, Liberals, ect.

So cult now means normal political disagreements?

So you can be a cult when every single person has a different ideology now?

So for all these years, I have not known what "cult" means? That's amazing.

Peter Thiel has always been against diversity, affirmative action. He created a paper that wrote on things like:
  • a front-page story on liberal professors who were “closet Marxists”; an op-ed casting aspersions on the inclusion of nonwhite authors in a Western Culture course
  • Chafkin writes that, when a Stanford senior was charged with sexual assault, the Review published an ardent defense of the rapist. :scust:
  • He quit his law job after seven months, worked for a while as a derivatives trader, and co-authored a book about campus politics, “The Diversity Myth,”:mjpls: with David Sacks, a friend from the Review.
Where did Peter Thiel get his money?
  • He started a hedge fund, Thiel Capital, with money raised from family and friends, and then, in 1998, met a young cryptographer, Max Levchin, and invested in his startup. Within a year, Thiel was the C.E.O. of Levchin’s company, Confinity, which offered a money-transfer service called PayPal.

Peter Thiel - like a lot of these guys - come from money, bought other people's ideas with their massive amounts of cash, then walk around as though they understand the world and should dictate other people's lives. And, Peter is an adherent of the late and demented "thinker," Ayn Rand.

You would need to show where Christianity as taught in American churches teach the brand of wokeness he is complaining about. Which I know for a fact you cannot do. It doesnt teach inclusion of homosexuals. It doesnt really teach acceptance at all if you are defiantly immoral and against gods laws. It teaches the man is the head and the woman is to be submissive to man.

Yall just dont like to acknowledge your cult behavior and indoctrination by the Europeans education system/cirriculum. Colleges and mainstream media historically lean heavily liberal. Theyve been used as spaces to indoctrinate the youth with liberal ideologies for decades now.

All your seeing now is that the internet has far more reaching and staying power than university,t.v,movies, news media. The rightwing arguably has a stronger foothold on the internet because thats where they got pushed to share their unpopular ideas anonymously. The playing field is far more level now before the rise of the internet and smart phones. But colleges continue to be an indoctrination camp for Democrats. Where as the internet has many indoctrination camps for Republican leanings.

Its just far easier to blame Churches than to admit yall are in political cults:respect:
I said the cac wasn't entirely wrong. Jesus was "woke". Christianity rose through the oppressed, disenfranchised and conquerer. It still is.

This demon is just coming from a place of white supremacey. Yall Black fundies need to come to terms with modern Christianity being a major vehicle of ws.

BTW, it's not just cac atheists complaining about wokeness in Christianity. Western cac Christian leaders are having a hard time selling some of Christ's teachings.

Moore told NPR in an interview released Tuesday that multiple pastors had told him they would quote the Sermon on the Mount, specifically the part that says to “turn the other cheek,” when preaching. Someone would come up after the service and ask, “Where did you get those liberal talking points?”

“What was alarming to me is that in most of these scenarios, when the pastor would say, ‘I’m literally quoting Jesus Christ,’ the response would not be, ‘I apologize.’ The response would be, ‘Yes, but that doesn’t work anymore. That’s weak,’” Moore said. “When we get to the point where the teachings of Jesus himself are seen as subversive to us, then we’re in a crisis.”

Moore said he thinks a large part of the issue is how divisive U.S. politics are, which is now spilling over into the church. He pointed to how a lot of issues are “packaged in terms of existential threat,” leading to the belief among everyone, not just evangelical Christians, that “desperate times call for desperate measures.”

These tech bros are legit psychopaths and MUST not ever have political power. Musk, Marc Andreessen, and Peter Thiel are all modern day Nazis looking to use advance technology to further their evil and demented agenda. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to orchestrate a genocide against black people one day.

We should appreciate Tom Anderson more. He created my space, got everyone on there, sold it to FOX for 600 million and disappeared instead of thinking he is Lord of the universe. lol

Not sure what Tariqs definition is,but Natureboy teaches us that "cult" is just culture basically. Many cults were just off shoots of a more widely accepted religion. Jim Jones started out as a regular baptist preacher irrc. Do you know what an offshoot of another culture would be? That is called a sub culture.

So your really just describing cults within larger cults. Or cults that are spinoffs of other cults.

If it makes yall feel better we can call it the Religion of Democrats. Since the difference in a cult and a normal religion is basically how widely accepted one is over the other:respect:

Kamala supporters are apart of a religion. Bernie supporters,#BothSiders and progressives are cultist. All subcultures of the democratic party.

Most cult members dont realize they are in a cult until they get out. Similar to how you realized MAGA was a cult once you decided to defect and become a Democrat. Come back in four years when you defect again:respect:

Note to the peanut gallery. Lies are easily debunked with facts. Truths that people are unwilling to accept are greeted with insults and deflection.

This is it. It's why you see them either going the Derbyshire way, or ascribing to more rigid and hierarchical Christian theologies like Traditional Catholicism.
