I'm a go with a dark horse pick. King cold could have been a problem freezia was the strongest being at the time and King Cold was even stronger. When you consider they genetic makeup he might have had 3 or 4 forms that increased his power and changed his appearance we never got to see. Instead Trunks came on the scene and slap chopped him into chicken nuggets. Johnny cage had more screen time in mortal combat annihilation than King cold had the whole series.

Every time I think about waste of character I think about Pikkon, Gohan, and Goten.

Pikkon was strong as hell and we never got to see a lot of him or see his back story. As a kid seeing pikkon battle Goku had my anticipation of a pikkon piccolo meetup had me like:banderas:. . Only for me to never see him again:beli:

Gohan wasnt allowed to train after cell and still ended up being stronger than everyone in the Buu Saga. Then he only got shine for 2 secs only to have buu absorb him and have goku beat buu with a weak ass spirit bomb:beli: It never made any sense as to why goku couldn't just instant transmission gohan back to the kai planet to end buu easy.:mindblown:

Gotens character is a waste as well there is really no point for him in the show. He comes out as the youngest super saiyan and has everyone :lupe: to the possible potential. Then ends up being a major simp and never even hitting ss 2:beli:

Bulma was the GOAT:manny:
actually now that i think about it, young trunks is prob the biggest waste of a character. First time i've seen the presence of a daddy, actually causing the kid to regress :heh:
goku and vegeeta fighting for worst daddy. And like everything else, goku easily wins

I was actually going to make a tread a while back about supreme kai being the worst character in DBZ:russ:

He supposed to be this great overseer but has no clue about the saiyans true powers, then lets gohan get his powers taken to give buu over half the necessary power to be resurrected just to find babadis hideout:mindblown:. How could the supreme kai not find the hideout on his own? and if it was necessary to sacrifice someone why not someone weaker that wouldnt give buu over half his power?

His sole purpose for appearing was to assure majin buu wasn't resurrected but ended up fukkin up and pretty much resurrecting buu by himself:mindblown:

LOL...not to :cape:but I don't think Chi-Chi can really be blamed for Gohan not living up to his fighting potential.

Even from the start, he never really liked fighting the same way Goku and Vegeta did. He really only did it out of necessity when he had to fight some overpowered villain that was on the way.

So it makes sense (in terms of character) that he wouldn't bother training if there's no threat to be worried about. Dude never cared about being the strongest or anything like that.

Anyway, to be honest I can't call it. My vote is for "everybody that's not a Saiyan". :manny:

Pikkon - dude is like a more talented Piccolo but does nothing really memorable and the series sucked at that point
Goten - you go super saiyan 3 before middle school but your most memorable moment is fighting hitler with trunks.
Gohan - you are the most powerful person on earth in like 3 occasions but you don't beat nobody after elementary school and get that work from dabura
King Cold - gets that work from trunks very quickly when that could've been a bigger threat
Gogeta - do you even see him in the main series? I just remember gogeta facing Janemba in a very forgettable movie. dude gave janemba that work though
Tien - should have leveled up over the years but he's a human...so...
Brolly - meant to be in the series / manga but was relegated to movie status
Raditz - in theory he could've lived longer but they killed him earlier than needed. Could have been a constant foe

Goten goes SS3??

Gohan wasn't a bad character, its just he never had the change to live up to his potential in anything, but not all of it was his fault. Gohan didn't like fighting because literally from the time he could speak, every fight was for his life or someone else's and someone almost always died. He was never strong enough to be a difference maker until Cell and the one time he did have the power to end things, he got cocky and ended up losing his pops. That, plus living a sheltered life and finally getting p*ssy for the first time can really pull you away from fighting.

Goten was the opposite. He was almost always so strong nothing could really even hurt him, so fighting was a game to him. That's why he and Trunks, even in serious situations, never took it serious because they didn't ever have to.
