This is likely not going to fill the hole well. Thinking he is just gonna go back to 3.somwthing ERA after he just had a 6.65 isn't likely. I hope I'm wrong but first glance I don't like the move. We could have gotten someone proven for less.I'd have more faith in him getting it together than Megill. It's a gamble worth taking and he's gonna be comfortable still being in NY and around a familiar face (Mendoza). The guy still throws mid to upper 90s and is 29. It's one year and only one move and the type they had to make ( high risk/high reward) w/ so many holes in the rotation.
