Big Krit style is so boring to me

I still fukks with KRIT. I knew he would never be a top 5 artist in 2012 because there isn't enough swag, gun talk, or label whoring and kids don't really care about lyrics.

If I fall, Rich Dad, Poor Dad are great songs.

I thought a few of his hooks were a little too repeatative and boring and I didn't really like "I got this" & "Yeah dat me" but I thought it was pretty good debut.

But I expect most younger hip hop fans to shyt on rappers like Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole and KRIT

But yet they praise Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and Waka Flocka for making a whole album of clubs, and fake gangster songs with no substance.

These mixtapes have kinda of fukked the game up for new artist though.Their debut usually isn't as good as the album that follows

Krit is a good artist but his music redundant, still his joints are a lot better than most of the stuff out right now. LFTU has it's flaws but it's still good, especially for a debut album

I don't hate KRIT at all and like some of his songs but I can't listen to him for a long time or I'll zone out. Maybe a track here and there.

I like his production a lot more than his rapping. Not to say he's not a good rapper though.

He's still my favorite new artist to come out in a while. Nobody is fukking with him as far as a producer/rapper combo.

He makes a certain style of music, so if you not digging that type of music, you probably won't be a fan. Sounds like a lot of people criticizing haven't fully heard his projects. Just a track here & there. I can't really see how anybody can shyt on his production though. shyt is so top notch. If you got a car with a system, no way could you hate on it.

I can fully understand not liking his persona as a rapper. That's one of those personal preference things. Kind of like I can say that Wale is a good rapper, and probably makes good music, but I can't really fukk with him(full solo project wise) because I just think dude is corny and don't feel him like that.

If and when Freddie Gibbs(My 2nd or 3rd Favorite new artist & favorite spitter) gets to this level of hype & buzz for a release, we will get the same thing.

I've already heard people say Gibbs is boring or even corny When a new artist reaches a certain level of popularity, you going to hear from both their fans & detractors in droves.

The only crime Krit is guilty of is dropping 3 free albums that were shortlist album of year material in a row...and his first retail release, while still very dope, not being as good...which is not a crime at all, makes him one of the best artists doing it right now
