Officially a libertarian hell hole
Libertarianism is really just another form of feudalism in the end.

The biggest non-rich supporters don't even realize this because the propaganda to sell it to the masses is effective as anything but the above. The dream is that lack of government regulations and lack of government, or in the most extreme no government, is needed because "freedom" and unrestrained capitalist concepts will be enough to bring order to society and fairness for all. I

Reality is that society is always going to be composed of individuals who will aim for maximum amount of power allowed. A lot of time this is tied to who controls the most resources. No restrictions on this will lead to a small class of nobility, lords, kings to hoard every resource that exists while the average person loses more and more until they are simply labor for the upper classes and own nothing. Libertarianism advocates for exploiters and resource hoarders to go to the extremes without limits. This will be the inevitable result.

This is why the wealthiest individuals in society love it. All these PoS tech investor billionaires are on that anarcho-libertarianism wave because they stand to gain the most under a system. Those who aren't a part of that class don't know they are signing on for their own disenfrancisment.

It's better to have a government who controls the ultra capitalist class. At the very least it's answerable to people through voting and action. You can't vote out a billionaire oligarch.

With what capital? The biggest power of big business isn't what it has in reserve, it is what is can borrow. And small businesses aren't typically the companies running operations where regulations are their biggest issue. Imagine saying "There is no regulation on waste management so you can now save money!"

You tossing chickenbones and a computer in the river so you don't have to call waste disposal is not nearly on the same planet as having a multinational corp drop waste byproducts into the water supply and sell you products that give you cancer somewhere in a 20 year window, just long enough to plausibly deny that it was yours.
Banks will take more risk with lending so hopefully there will be more available capital.

But who we tryna fool. Banks will fukk around and fukk up the money under a megelomaniac and create the panic he needs for his Reich

Without regulations, big bank takes little bank everytime. A lot of regulations came about during the gilded age in the 20s because they recognize that unrestrained capitalism leads to shyt like the great depression and disparity between rich and poor to grow.

Guess we are going to have to learn the lesson again.

Nah they're taking an L too.

There are tons of FTC anti-competitive regulations that protect small businesses from large corporations but only the latter can bribe politicians (also now legal after this week)

Government and Big Business work hand in hand, lockstep with eachother, and have been since the late 1800s

It's crazy how everyone wants to ignore it to live in a fantasy like that hasn't been the case, and thinks they can vote themselves out of "changing it"
