Be careful with this card if you aren’t responsible, having to pay everything back inside the month you spend it will eat your ass alive if you ain’t got the $$ breh
Lol for sure. I can cover what I spend on my cards, I have a few cards with decent limits. I try to keep everything within my pay grade.

I just joined the AMEX club a couple months ago. My credit isn't even that great. It's between 690-720 depending on which system you go by. I thought for sure I'd get turned down.

For their charge cards, as long as you are 700 and above and a year or two of good payment history on your credit you will most likely get approve (except the black card). Even their starter or basic credit cards you can get approve with a 670 and good payment history. Most of their cards are not hard to get. People just have to decide if their annual fees are worth it.

Right now people are getting approved for platinum well under 700 Experian with new credit history and getting 125k point welcome bonuses. They lost slot of spending due to covid and are aggressive with the approvals now

I thought the split pay was only for certain small purchases. I haven’t tried it because I don’t need it. I’ve hit $50k in spend in 5 months but I’m not sure I’ll hit $75k before end of year. I have to check if it’s calendar year or not to hit $75k to get the free lounge guest passes or not.

Card came in yesterday. I was ready to just toss it in the wallet and call it a day, but I took a moment to check the card out. I was surprised by how it looks and feels in the hand (:dame:). I can see why people stan their shyt.
the sturdiness :dame:and weight :dame:of the amex make it feel 10x more official than that visa and mastercard plastic nonsense i been carrying around
and the metallic shimmer :banderas:
:dame:

Just checked the wife’s credit and her gold card made her credit rise 68 points to 790 because Amex makes it seem like we pay off a card balance each month

well you do pay off the balance.
