The accent that was intended in that scene was a "Jamaican" accent. It doesn't matter whether Eddie has some Bahamian ancestry or not.

Bahamians don't use the patois terms that were in that scene.

Movie was definitely mid in comparison to past Beverly Hills Cops. It's missing some the edginess of past Beverly Hills. Movie came off too polished. Not only was this film no where near as funny, they left out one of the most Iconic Parts of the Axel Foley Character - his fukin Laugh!!! How dare you bring back the character not bring back that iconic laugh. It was part of what made that character so funny. Smh

I understand not using it for other films. But for Axel Foley hell no. The laugh is one of the most iconic parts of that character. Terrible decision by Eddie.

I wasnt expecting much going in.. is a cool movie for the nostalgic heads like me.

Affion Crocket scene was the best laugh. Taylour Paige fine as ever..

8 out of 10 just for the nostalgia of it and not ruining the series.

Actors don't want to be typecast, so I understand him not wanting to do the laugh his whole career. He stopped doing the laugh for so long I forgot he used to laugh like that. I noticed Seth Rogan also has stopped/toned down his famous laugh.
