@Whips-n-Chains how would you rank these shows from greatest to least

Game of Thrones

Mad Men

The Wire

The Sopranos

Succession

Better Call Saul

Breaking Bad

1. Sopranos
2. Wire
3. BB

The rest are fairly even to me. I haven't seen all of Better Call Saul yet, been meaning to catch up. Maybe succession at the lowest for me. I really liked the show, but I started getting bored with it in S4, and it started becoming a chore to watch it for some reason.

The first two seasons of BCS is better than the first two seasons of BB. I love every season of BCS but BB season 4 is just amazing, S4 is the best season of BB but S4 as well as S5 of BB had incredible highs that BCS never reached.
thats debatable, i think both first two seasons were kinda dry but bb was better, i dont think bcs lasts past season 2 without the support of bb stans

No way. There were episodes in the first season when I wanted to bail on the show. Also, Prequels are confined with what they can do with the characters. We know all these characters are going to make it through the series so that reduces the tension we should feel when conflict arises between them. For example, we know Gus and Hector are going to live to fight it out in BB. We know the goons that are going to make it out alive.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good show, but it’s not BB level.

The more time goes by the more im convinced that BCS was complete🧢. I will admit that while watching it, the show had this way of keeping you engaged enough to want to see it through but that is mostly hinged on it being tied to another show. Almost every plot line ended in such an underwhelming way that there is nothing to look back on with excitement.
