It wouldn’t be a terrible idea to put Bernie in as VP to eat the whole clown cake for the Dems

That said I agree with those who say 2020 is too early for Beto...That's why I like him better running as VP in 2020...Biden/Beto makes the most sense for me because Biden at his age is probably only good for one term which will allow Beto to grow nationally and take over in 2024...

He better run now, AOC is coming for the spot next cycle

It still applies. Democrats don't have a chance in SC at anything.

I think he is talking about the democratic primaries and the race for delegates and superdelegates to get the nomination.

The South Carolina Primary back in 08 was helpful for Obama securing the nomination from Hillary and Edwards. He won the Iowa Caucus, but u knew he was for real when he won SC.

i wanna say beto should be the nominee, but i cant quite say i would see him winning in 2020

the bottom line is that the nominee has to be someone that these fukkin propagandists on the right cant smear as a 'socialist' :dead:

It has to be someone that will energize the Dems to come out and vote PERIOD.

Because the Republicans will vote for Trump no matter what. They don't need to be in love with their candidate.

i think trump being the opponent in 2020 will do the vast majority of the energizing :yeshrug: i really think this is gonna come down to swinging middle voters instead of energizing the left

Haven't you learned, they'll label any Democrat as a socialist. They try that on people like Manchin lol

Exactly, you basically saw that in Texas. Energized Dems closed the gap to 3 points and on the flip side Republicans hate Cruz and still vote for him
