The lead being black means nothing. 24 has been done to death. They should have left it alone and made a new show. There's only so much recycling of plot points they can do. Also 24 was Jack. Nobody really trying to see his show without him in it. That's another reason they should have left it alone. They could never kill him off so his plot shield became obvious.
Jackson appeal was the crazy stuff he did. This guy seems like a normal person.
