MTV helped raise me in the 90s so its always kind of sad to see it status nowadays, completely removed from pop culture and totally irrelevant in the lives of this generation of teens and young adults.

There was a time back in the day where if you woulda told me my cable package didn't include MTV I would have legit been like

Now, the only connection I have to the channel is that I save Martin reruns from it on my roku/philio subscription.

I haven't watched BET since like 2012 or 2013 and it was that Kevin Hart show. I haven't watched MTV since Bush Jr was president. Vh1 probably since 2012 and that was to watch Love and Hip Hop out of curiosity.

Everytime I'm flipping channels BET always has Martin playing.
