MTV helped raise me in the 90s so its always kind of sad to see it :flabbynsick:status nowadays, completely removed from pop culture and totally irrelevant in the lives of this generation of teens and young adults.

There was a time back in the day where if you woulda told me my cable package didn't include MTV I would have legit been like

Now, the only connection I have to the channel is that I save Martin reruns from it on my roku/philio subscription.

The new season of Real World is on some online stream channel called Watch.
That’s how little people tune into MTV now lmao

See, by the time Jersey Shore became the new "cool" show on MTV a decade ago, I already thought MTV's best years were a thing of the past.

True it wasn’t what it was, but jersey shore was huge for them back then. They owned the 2000s so let’s just reminisce

VH1 was the one that kinda came up though. Love and hip hop, mob wives, all the reality shows boosted them in the 2010s.

Real world byke :ohhh:? They fell off so hard that they’re pulling people from any reality show to be on the challenges now smh

MTV is the current WOAT of the 3 though :yeshrug:

Yeah, the show was huge for MTV because by that point The Real World and Road Rules had really run it's course

Jayden Jaymes was on an episode of true life :wow:, I still haven’t seen that whole episode :deadmanny:

MTV busy pushing Teen Mom aka dumb white girls making bad choices for the last 10 years strong. Everything else they had besides Jersey Shore Reunion disappeared or was brought back as a flop smh
