i (along with millions of others of all races/ethnicity) was listening to dmx, method man, nas, jarule, snoop etc. when i was 12, i turned out fine and so do most people. how do you know its the parents and not other peers or other influences like books, the news, the neighborhood environment or their school environment? additionally, everyone is free to decide their own path through life and thats all there is to it. a parent can only do so much. i assume you lived in the same household and followed the kids around 24/7 to form your ignorant opinion.

I agree with it for the most part. However, I'll put it like this: hardcore rap music didn't start the fire, it only acted like kerosene to the fire. The fire doesn't stop spreading because kerosene stopped being poured on it.

This is the part that yall dont understand. Anytime somebody points the finger at the destructive and genocidal content glorified by hiphop yall automatically assume that that person HATES hiphop itself. Dr. Watkins has expressed his love for rap many times. I love it also. Thats why i hate what it has come to: a tool being used against us thats controlled by our enemy. Yall dont seem to grasp that part. WE DO NOT CONTROL HIPHOP!!!!! Its not a coincidence that the majority of the easily accessible hiphop promotes negativity. Whites own hiphop so it wouldnt be in their best interest to flood the airwaves with content that promotes positivity and black love/unity. Take a look at BET itself. White owned. BET not covering the MMM should be a huge eye opener for those of you who dont believe in the agenda and that media propaganda is being used against us.
