I didn't realize that Nvidia's streaming service now gets 1st-party Xbox games (Along with Steam, Epic, & Ubisoft games). I'm looking forward to when video game streaming becomes prominent enough that we can retire the concept of a video game console.

Don't hold your breath. Zero competitive or timing dependent games will work well over stream. Consoles will always be a necessary evil unless Intel, AMD, and Nvidia grow remorse and stop charging an arm and a leg for PC parts.

Amazon regularly rewards Fire TV users with $5 digital credits (at least once a month) just for watching a commercial on the Fire TV. That + the fact Amazon regularly has newer & older 4K digital films on sale for just $5 to use the credits on, is enough to keep me going back to the Nvidia Shield TV, Apple TV, or the new Google TV streamer 4K

I just copped the ATV 4K 3rd Gen and i have to admit it blows my 2 Roku Ultras out of the water. so much faster, sleeker and the picture quality is much better.

even my wife noticed.

i'd been a hardcore apple hater most of my life. i'd never actually purchased anything apple until yesterday, but had gotten more into their ecosystem the past few years with the app on roku, and a recent ipad from work.

My shield is seven years old and going strong :salute:

I mostly watch TVMate , YouTube Premium and Plex so it checks the boxes for me.
