I have two shields and yes... in two thousand fukking FIFTHTEEN they were elite but it's damn near a decade later. Unless you're going to game on it as well I can't really suggest it over a jailbroken 4k firestick at this point.

You mean the Fire Cube? The 4K stick isn't close to the 2019 Shield Pro.

If someone is simply trying to stream and use IPTV.. the stick would suit that purpose imo. Granted I only have the 2015 and 2017 shield models.. the tech is pretty close.

You're good. Thread is mostly about the best of the best so I was caught off. For simple streaming Chromecast and Fire Stick are good but there's levels.

I didn't realize that Nvidia's streaming service now gets 1st-party Xbox games (Along with Steam, Epic, & Ubisoft games). I'm looking forward to when video game streaming becomes prominent enough that we can retire the concept of a video game console.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any posts about Zidoo, Zappiti, or Dune HD streaming devices. I use to rip all my DVDs and Blu-ray movies back in 2011, but my NAS died and never replaced it. If I do build/buy a new NAS, I'll probably check out something by one of these two companies.

That's the biggest negative of owning a Apple TV. The remote is expensive AF to replace. I wouldn't buy your 2022 Apple TV 4K if I saw it on eBay, becuz I could probably buy a used or refurbished 1 that includes the remote and that would still cost less than buying your Apple TV & buying a separate siri remote.

Am I the only person who thinks that Alexa YouTube search on Fire TV devices suck compared to Siri YouTube search on Apple TV & Google Assistant YouTube search on Android TV devices?

I don't use the Apple remote I have a Logitech Harmony Elite and Skip 1s. Seller ignored my offer. Ain't nobody paying her $90 for a used AppleTV with no remote when a new one with a remote cost the difference in what she lowered her price.
