Best story you've ever seen in a modern game? Last 5 years

I feel like God of War 2018 was the best modern game story I've experienced since Mass Effect.

Chained Echoes was also really good

Tales of Arise was pretty good too.

The idea of going hard to save your wife really resonated with me.

Best story throughout an entire series is Xenogears/saga/blade.
