I got "Martin" "The Waynans bros" & "The Wonder years" all the seasons in physical boxset. I know I will enjoy Martin until I'm 100 years old

Streaming corporations will always edit out things from the original as time goes by. All those GTA video games we played in 2000s, the new editions miss a lot of tracks because of copyrighting license from songs running out.

What's this mean, just as a customer who doesn't even buy dvd's this is kinda disappointing

Man yall better buy up every dvd and blu ray you can find. With digital media especially streaming you do not control how long you can access your favorite movies they can switch off your service and demand a monthly charge for a movie you already supposedly own digitally. Plus the pay per stream movies lack all the special extras and bonus footage from some of the DVD/Blu Ray releases. On top of that they can change the version of the movie they stream to you at will they can censor "controversial" scenes or remove the film you like from their platform.

Anybody that holds on to a large dvd/bluray collection will eat like a king when all those physical copies become rare. Limited edition dvd and bluray prices will skyrocket. get your ebay account ready.

Thank you. Dudes in here laughing like the joke won't be on them. I knew this was coming but Best Buy may be on it's last leg anyway (Cough Circuit City Cough). Most people buy their electronics online now. But you should own as much physical media as possible. Music and Movies (Y'all better hit that 5 Dollar Walmart DVD bin, it's has some cheap gems in there. Sometimes there's two movies packaged in one DVD). I've already seen them switch up music (Editing albums, taking off songs). They will do it to movies soon. LOL @ "Renting" music or movies and then crying when they shut it off or raise the prices. If all streaming services ended tomorrow, I'll be good. Meanwhile many of you will be having emotional breakdowns when they cut off your entertainment. This was the plan from the beginning. Soon only a few Big Companies will own all the Streaming Services and will be charging you big prices in the future to access movies and music (Even Youtube started charging, maybe one day it won't be free). Download everything you can. Do you not leave you entertainment up to a streaming service.

I got a wall of over 600 blu-rays myself, I need my sound quality and visual for my home theater. Streaming is convenient but still lacking in certain areas.
