Wow man I was wondering what happened to breh. I definitely feel like he could make a resurgence if he wanted to now. A lot of actors get the short end of the stick like that, especially black actors. It's even worse that they're hiring more UK black actors also.

We really don't see the day to day of these actors. I know the pandemic hit a lot of them hard too.

I was just thinking about him also. Luckily Elvin was able to get a role after he got in the news cycle. Maybe this will help propel Jeremy also.

I think there is so much pressure to provide for the family at a young age a lot of these child actors fold under the pressure cause it's too much.

I would include Raven in there as well, but I would argue that she hasn't had the same opportunities and level of success that Kenan Thompson has. Still an accomplishment in itself though seeing how long she has been in the game.

Good point, actually i would argue Raven is more successful than Kenan. I know her net worth is much higher. but yeah outside of them two, i can't think of any others that you would say "made it" they all grinding to get work.

The thing he said about adults playing teens is true and it’s fukked up because before you could google actors there would be a 33 year old playing a 15 year old now there’s more of an uproar but a lot of characters are even aged up in film to not even have kid actors.

A recent example is when Gotham had a bunch of younger actors to portray the characters then they replaced the Poison Ivy character with a grown sexy woman

They have stayed around true but they still strike me as check to check actresses. They go a few years without work and they'd working regular jobs too. I wouldn't use them as an example. Kenan and Raven have made it to the point where they could retire and live comfortably the rest of their lives.

The majority of actors/actresses out here are working odd jobs to supplement income, we just don't see or hear about it publicly. There isn't money or a lucrative career out here in acting in spite of what people think. Geoffrey Owens was here a few weeks ago performing and he flat out said that he took the Trader Joe's job because he had no other choice but to.

Even Chadwick Bosemen's estate (Rip ) was only worth less than a million after his death and that was in spite all of the movies he had been in for his career including Marvel.

Worst thing that can happen to a child actor especially a boy is to have a show end when they are in the middle of puberty. It's extremely hard to recover from that. With that said, it seems that he has taken it in stride.
