Even Chadwick Bosemen's estate (Rip :mjcry:) was only worth less than a million after his death and that was in spite all of the movies he had been in for his career including Marvel.

That is just plain crazy :snoop:

One thing about when you blow up thought is how many people latch onto you. When you pay the managers, lawyers, agents, publicist, your family, friends....it leaves you with a lot less. Either way though, Chadwick should hopefully have some equity on some projects. You ever notice how when someone dies all of a sudden there is a windfall of cash? When your gone...those that were tag alone move on.

You really aint seen none of the kids from that show really do much after that show ended
alot of child hood actors on sitcomes end up like that

Raven Samone is one of the few, who was a child actor and ended up making a career for herself when older by even getting her own TV Show, gotta give it to her on that:ehh:

The fat girl from Hairspray was working in a salon after the movie.

I mean it’s hard to find a a show year after year or a successful movie after movie.

That’s why the lady from Grey’s Anatomy doing 20 seasons. Make money doing the same crap and getting that producer money.

People hated old Hollywood system but it guaranteed work. You had no choice but it was steady if you played the game.

Jeremy Suarez became a stand-out on The Bernie Mac Show as the comedian's nephew, Jordan. After the show ended, however, Suarez had difficulty finding work as he hit an awkward age and roles were no longer coming in as frequently.

In an interview with Comedy Hype, the actor explained that once he looked like a teen casting directors started hiring adults over him in order to save costs.

"It was a little bit rough because I was in this age bracket where I was...I looked like lower to middle-high school age," he said. "But at that age, they would much rather hire somebody who's like 19 to play that age because they don't have child actor laws."

Suarez added that child actors are restricted to a certain amount of hours they can work and need an on-set tutor hired. Therefore, hiring adults to play teen roles is vastly cheaper.

"Everything really slowed down and that was kind of hard for me because I had never gone like six months without a job," Suarez continued before stating he made the decision to take a step back from acting. "There's only so much life you can see on an acting set. So that's what I did. I went out and I just lived a normal life and that was really...it was cool because I had never done that before. I had never had a normal job and I wanted to go and kind of push myself. You don't if you tough until you test if you tough. So I went and I was working construction, I worked with the boilermakers, and I worked in retail. I tested if I was tough and the areas in which I wasn't tough yet, I worked on them until I am."

Maybe he will act again later

The majority of actors/actresses out here are working odd jobs to supplement income, we just don't see or hear about it publicly. There isn't money or a lucrative career out here in acting in spite of what people think. Geoffrey Owens was here a few weeks ago performing and he flat out said that he took the Trader Joe's job because he had no other choice but to.

this is very true. I legit knew a couple folk who had semi-recurring roles on prime time TV, with side jobs, that were flexible enough so that they could hit auditions.

Chadwick was paid 2 million for Black Panther, and 700K for Captain America: Civil War.

They never confirmed his Infinity War or End Game pay, but Hollywood Reporter pegged Chad at a net worth of 8 million at the time.

Disney was notoriously cheap with their MCU contracts but Chad had 1 film left on his 5 movie deal and was in the midst of negotiations for a more lucrative reup when he died...

...in other words he was about to cash out for all the work he had put in.. but we know what happened :francis:
