I'm 100% with you. Track 7 is Al and 9 is Daringer. Got to be...

Oh and that LP is incredible. Only complain like somebody said is that Cole joint is not a good intro song.
Also 7 being Al and 9 being Daringer makes more sense with them splitting up their sounds

I’m gonna ask around among a few cats I know and try to see if the credits got misprinted

Alchemist had a post on his IG with Benny rapping in the booth and he had the Uncle Bun instrumental playing:jbhmm:

Not saying Daringer isn’t capable of making that type of beat but those are definitely Alchemist sounds in that beat

Man people really want shyt to just be one thing. Crazy to me that someone would even compare Durk and Benny, two completely different lanes :what:

This bullshyt shouldn't have entered this thread in the first place.

Loving this album, Alchemist and Daringer get the best out of Benny. I always felt like he's fairly limited in terms of flow, but they know how to accommodate their production to his capabilities.

My bad if this was already clarified but I assume the censored shyt was him referencing the Shady deal and why it was smart that West didn't sign a 360 contract.
That’s probably the only time I would agree with an A&R over an artist censoring the name’s was a good call no need to throw unnecessary shots plus it made the song harder

Nah, I wish there was more rapping going on but I like the melodic music too.

I made this thread.

Freddie Gibbs: “We ain’t gon have rap in 5 years if u nikkaz don’t start rapping again”

For me at this point I just want more balance in the music it’s like everything is some street shyt.

The social media era caters to what holds the attention spans of 13-20yo listeners, they grew up on drill and trap so that’s all they want to hear. It feeds into itself because those are the rappers w/ the most followers on these platforms so the algorithm spoon feeds the street shyt over and over. The real problem is that “we” don’t control our own media, there’s no black media that’s as widespread within the community as IG or tik tok to create a balance of what trends.

The “Alternative” to street rap for that audience is juice wrld/lil uzi vert hair metal rap :scust: which is giving a lot of white vultures a lane into the charts because no one would believe their street tales anyway but they’ll believe their junkie raps all day.

Also the industry highkey created a dichotomy where they only let black rappers get on rapping about street shyt while white rappers follow the Murs formula and get the push for it, I.e. Jack Harlow and etc
