I don’t think Billy Joe sounds a ton like Daringer either. But Uncle Bun sounds more like Al that Billy Joe sounds like either of them separately or combined lol

put it this way. If you played that beat and asked 100 people the Coli to correctly guess who produced it with a gun to their head, they would all be dead
I honestly thought it sounded like Daringer :manny:

I listened to this and that new Conway back to back. I’m not sure which is better. :jbhmm:

Both are very good :ehh:

Different styles for different moods IMO Conway is much more introspective and grimey, intricate storytelling where Benny is good for quotable bars, punchlines/similies etc both of them can do both styles but they excel in their own ways.

I know he said that shyt, and I believe him. I really do.

Also just throwing out there that Cam'ron thought Kanye made Down and Out. Mobb Deep thought DJ Muggs made Thug Muzik. Big Pooh thought 9th Wonder made Fever. I got lots more examples of these. Khrysis thought Evidence made To Be Determined. Jean Grae thought 9th Wonder made American Pimp.

Sometimes even the cats that are involved on the songs are just...wrong. For whatever reason. It might sound crazy, but it happens more than people would expect.

I do believe Benny, and there's a good chance he was there when the beat that made.

I'll just end it by saying Uncle Bun now takes the #1 spot as the most Alc beat sounding beat of all time that Alc didn't make.
Co sign this the best AL duplicate ever. It's just missing either an AL verse or drop. That Twitter link I kept reposting you do see daringer walk in the room. Maybe AL was having the same reaction we are in that clip:russ:

Alc laced this shyt :wow::wow: Daringer too, o/a the production is beautifully sequenced & complements the rapping perfectly.

Lyrically this album is average, Benny's delivery is consistently good but his content is limited and he don't got the wordplay or the personability like that to play that off. Also lowkey the verses blend into one another, no one song or verse on here from Benny stands out like that in terms of the flow or as a lyrical performance. The flow is pretty much the same on every track.

The production is so good that the album rides front to back, but bars-wise it's pretty forgettable for the most part. Highly listenable though, Benny sounds good even when he's saying nothing.

When it comes to Alc joints in a similar lane, Boldy James executed better on The Price of Tea in China imo. More vivid/unique imagery, more versatile with the flows, more colorful wordplay, etc. Benny has a "better" voice but he's coasting on that.
This

i can’t see Boldly rapping over other beats besides Al
