It's really unbelievable to me that there was a certain segment of Coli nikkaz throwing shade at ALC. Lock ALC in the studio with a certain GOAT I'm 1000% it'll come out classic:wow::mjcry:
Some people just not gonna be satisfied. Dude can do any style or beat. He brought a diverse bag to this album

This album makes me think what Jada could've did in his prime if he had tight focused vision or a single producer project. Them late 90's-2000's commercial formula projects didn't work for everybody.

It's a gift knowing your sound and what you do well.

REAL TALK RIGHT HERE

What verse is better?

Four songs in and Stove God's verse is. I'm willing to bet the Conway verse is too.

10 More Commandments is too.

Yup, Conway's is better.

It's the exact opposite for me.

This is dope, but I'm fukking with God Don't Make Mistakes way more
I think the best songs on GDMM are better “songs”. But I can play TT4 all the way through without wanting to skip anything. A few of the features and some production on the first half of GDMM I don’t love. And the lack of samples stands out more when I hear this.

Imo I just need Al to do what Premo and Rza did and drop classic albums all produced by himself which he had one but that’s debatable

edit: Mr Chow Hall:banderas:
So I feel like this is as good as can be expected man. The genre is not new anymore. It’s hard to come out with groundbreaking and genre bending music like RZA did in the 90’s

Honestly these full albums Al is doing with Boldy, Gibbs, Benny, Conway, Roc Marci, Armand Hammer, Currensy…this is great stuff.

It’s objectively harder to make 90’s criteria 5 mic albums anymore. Alchemist is coming close. POTIC and BJ are incredible bodies of work. And he’s doing all this shyt almost 30 years deep in the game and has never taken a break. Insane shyt.

Now you know Al is my favorite producer Darc but I lived in the golden era and I’ve been going back to the first five years of the Wu and I vividly remember him and premo set a vet high standard that very few touched including Hav. I get you best believe it but I just can’t rank Al higher than a few other producers and he basically the Lebron James of producing with the longevity

Yup. Benny is boring. Brehs just don’t want to admit it. At least Pusha is clever with the words, using metaphors in ways that demand a rewind. All Benny talks about is plugs and slabs. Like, shut the fukk up and show some growth.

:francis:
Why should they admit something that they don’t agree with …. It’s cool u think he’s boring

me personally I like gangsta rap over sample beats …. shyt never gets old to me
