You lost me when your only argument seems to be oh It's not the dark knight therefore it's a underperforming nonimpactful movie like Eric banas hulk .i brought up thor because you were using critical acclaim as a meter for a movies impact ,Thor was greatly received and was part of the hit avengers so therefore Thor 2 should be some great success yet it most likely won't outsell mos does that therefore mean Thor 2 is a flop? I mean mos was such a nonentity and no one cares about it according to you . Critical acclaim or polarizing fan reaction isn't a judge of a movies impact Warner brothers had a previous jla movie they planned with George miller and they didn't launch it so fans have been anticipating one . they pretty much said mos would decide they future of the dc universe and due to its success they plan to launch the cinematic dc universe with a new batman which is ballsy considering the success of the Nolanverse.

i aint even mention dark knight but ask yourself what about MoS are heads talking about in august let alone for its legacy.There was nothing memorable about it it was just mediocre...

I never even mentioned avengers but given the fact its superman + nolan now has a proven track record to muster 83,446,419 more than begins is underwhelming.If you think thats what the studios/producers projected when MoS was in its inception u dont know anything about business..erm....do u think that anchors your argument? u are basically saying MoS is 3rd because this summer has been filled with flops.MoS bein one of the few movies not to stink it up isnt a sign of anything but the fact that the summer of 2013 has had lots of missfires but they would've sucked regardles.Just like MoS will always be an ok movie that achieved moderate success (but underperformed) regardless what summer it came out

Nolan at the helm ??????? Helm of what ? He's a producer and his brother wrote it . It has nothing to do with Nolan fanboys its just the action packed superman previews drew in people .
Yes they wanted to capitalize off of the avengers success but you think if mos flopped after green lantern flopped they just say fukk it and release a jla movie ?!!? You can't be serious . Superman returns was a financial success and couldn't even get a sequel , the last jla attempt failed you think they wanted to rush it out damned the interest level ?
None of us know what dc wanted for superman to make ( I'm sure they would of loved a billion dollars ) but the execs say they are happy and its getting a fast tracked sequel so its safe to say they were pleased with the return . they put Easter eggs for batman in mos movie for a reason you can't say they didn't plan to include in mos 2 like you claimed and only threw him in to drum up interest .... Your claiming your opinion is fact but nothing backs you up
