I think this was pretty much a given; considering the surrounding cast of characters in the Justice League generally sucks.

USA Today spoke with Morgan Freeman, who played Lucius Fox in Chris Nolan's "Dark Knight Trilogy," and he was quite surprised by the announcement for a reason you may not expect.

"This is the first I am hearing of it," said Freeman. "My first reactions are 'Wow' and 'Good luck.' After the trilogy, I thought that no one would try it again for a few years more to let this whole thing die down, because it's still there. So I don't know, I hope Ben does well."

We know what you're thinking too, but Freeman likely won't reprise his role should Fox return in the upcoming film.

"If the new movie does have a Lucius Fox I don't think it's going to be me," said Freeman. "It doesn't seem to work to mix characters in the movies. If you are going to change the lead character, you're probably going to change all the characters."

The whole justice league is more famous than every avenger pretty much though . I don't get why people acting like a role from years ago (daredevil) defines Ben Affleck. Chris Evans was hated on , Chris hemsworth was a guy from a Aussie soap opera 5 minutes of Star Trek and like 15 minutes of a perfect getaway . Robert Downey jr was doubted too smh , Heath ledger of course .
The thing is he clearly has the talent to play batman everything else is the script and direction generally so that's what we have to see , but acting like the man can't act enough to be batman is silly

thats just it it doesnt take a lot of acting or skill to play "batman" but in saying that bale really sucked at it.Can affleck even alter his voivce to sound like a grizzly vet? i m more worried about how he'll potray wayne anyway.There cant ever be a worse batman than clooney/bale

Notoriety doesn't make a character better, and that notoriety is really negligible; Ironman, Thor, Captain America, and Hulk are damn near as widely known as Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Batman and Superman.

The villains for Avengers are better too, I can't even name the villains in Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman. And call me crazy, but I think Green Lantern has one of the dumbest powers ever.


I don't blame Affleck for Daredevil however...but he didn't help it either.

The Justice League animated series is so well done and so much better than Avengers though. There's no reason, with a good director, the same thing can happen with the live action version. I was a big fan of Avengers the movie, I thought Whedon did a hell of a job. And there's no reason why Justice League can't be the same. But Affleck though? We've already suffered through Christian Bale as Batman, let's go for someone who isn't necessarily a superstar name but right for the role.

Yeah, he did actually. There isn't much of a difference between Batman Begins and MOS. Both were solid introduction to their respective characters.

Darkseid , amazo , starro are better to me . Green lanterns powers to me are pretty bad ass he's just a intergalactic cop like nova . Joker , Luthor , sinestro , the rouges , cheetah all great villains.

Look it made almost 300 million more inflation or not man ... And mos had people excited for a superman sequel and justice league movie as opposed to superman returns . I'm not saying its a better movie or better reviewed but moneywise it's more successful and impactwise it's leading to a batman superman movie that's pretty needle moving

What needle what are you talking about ??? Batman begins wasn't a universally loved movie by fans alot of people complained about the lack of batman and the fact he let ra die in the train .
