They should have had him back in the first place. I hate Affleck, never liked him. Never wanted him as Batman. I really hope Justice League won’t suffer cause of him.

They tried to get Bale back. They offered him a BOATLOAD of money and he said that since Nolan was done that means he was done...

I HATE the idea some of you are floating around about a 'Battle for the Cowl' and giving it to dikk Grayson or whatever. That would be a movie you'd have to build to, IMO, and have established all of the Bat-characters with a few movies already. A story like that would be a good time for casting a new Bruce Wayne/Batman though. Have Nightwing takeover, then a movie or two later Bruce (new actor) comes back and becomes Batman again. You'd have that one or two movie break between actors so it wouldn't be so jarring.

But the DC movie universe is still fairly fresh and unexplored, so I say suck it up, recast and keep it moving. Won't be the first time it's been done for this character. People are used to it.


Yeah, I don't get it. Is it WB/DC that's making him unhappy or is he the problem and at a bad place in his life? If he leaves before doing a solo movie, I think he's going to regret it years from now.

DCEU should take a break. If anything they need to get Superman right first before anything else, but Wonder Woman should be allowed to finish out her films beforehand.

40 years now and Christopher Reeve is still the benchmark for Supes.

3 hour TV edit of Superman is still the best superhero movie ever. It's on Blu Ray now too.

Tbh batfleck isn't completely terrible but they should've picked someone with more charisma, and someone younger.
