Humans are reactionary. Economically speaking children rearing is devastating on the mental, physical, economical and emotional health of the low to middle class families. People avoiding children and being single is a reaction to the economic pressure Americans are under. It shouldn’t be this way but it is. I have seen the life drawn out of young adults when they have kids. There needs to be a major economic revolution if not fertility rates will keep plummeting.

It’s a shame you got bushed but this is gospel. Financially, I’m very very fortunate to be in a position to have a family and a wife that doesn’t ever have to work. I am very much aware I’m in a very small percentile.

But I know for a fact not having children has played a huge part in that. If I got trapped by a young age, my money, time and resources would’ve been drained significantly.

I know so many men that should’ve gone on to do great things but they were irresponsible and knocked up some questionable women and couldn’t pursue their dreams. Seeing that scared me into making sure I didn’t knock any old skank up.
