Being single with no kids is pretty much living life in a cheat code.

34 and have now been single for a year after getting out of a 5 year relationship. In one year I have gotten in the best shape of my life, got the highest paying job in my life and mentally in the best head space I have ever been in my life. I’ve never been happier or in a better place. Being able to focus all your energy on bettering yourself and not having baggage is a fukking cheat code. I eventually will start dating casually again. But right now just working on bettering every aspect of my life is GOATED! The effort and headache toll relationship take out of you is too much. And even if you have a great relationship the complacency and drive it takes from you is HUGE! Even if she is a keeper lol. There is a Harvard study that says a man’s testosterone significantly drops when a man gets married and skyrockets when he gets divorced. Just think about that lol.

This is all good until after you're 60(if you make it there). Has nothing to do with kids taking care of you but everything to do with relationships and intrinsic needs.

There's a greater need and desire for family after 60. You're young and independent now, but just like the same women you all critisize that say they dont need a man... you will FEEL the effects of no family, the closer you get to 60. I've been warned and I'm taking it serious.

Money can't replace family. God forbid but if something happens, and your money is worthless, family will be all the more important, but you all live in your materialistic self worship culture so it will go in one ear and out the other.
