Being a cop and a teacher are the two worst jobs anybody can have

For teachers, they have to get a degree and a teaching license.
To be a cop, you don't need a degree, but you need to complete police academy, which is kind of like a short-term tech/trade school. And then, you are tested to pass a test, both written and verbal tests. That gets you your badge. Later, you have to do what is called Field Training, where a field training officer shows you the ropes on the street. He or she determines whether you have what it takes to be on the road by yourself. Field training is around 2 to 4 months. You can fail out in the academy, in tests, or in field training. Having a degree can help you get higher pay, but that's about it.

Cop aint that bad of a job. I know cops in NYC that make over 100k which is not bad for the requirments. Sure you can look at the downfalls but there are hella benefits. You can work bs security jobs fort evertime and get paid 40hr for doing nothing. You get respect form buisness owners and promoters and deals and benefits. You can flex muscle if needed. firefighters got it good to...in NYC they can make decent bread and for the most time time they sit in the firehouse doing nothing so they actually work two jobs just cause.

Well of course not, tbh just the idea of writing up daily plans seems like a bytch, and to teach them multiple times a day<<

Because they are still employed.

Just think of the summer as paid vacation

Im going to school to be a teacher. Say what you want but, I love it. I love working with kids and teens in urban areas. I been doin my student teaching and these kids love me. If you cant connect with people and have no pateince, being a cop or teacher isnt for you. Im not gonna go to school for a job i dont like.

A lot of them pick up crazy overtime where they aren't actually doing anything and they make six figures

Police get like 40 an hour to do security at high school basketball games

Teachers and cops can actually live off of their pay.

Not really. You can be a cool ass teacher that can relate to the students and make shyt fun. Or you can be that a$$hole who wants have complete power . Now if you take a job at Fair Eastside High.....you knew the deal when you walked in the school for your interview
