you have been shytposting in here since you arrived.

Flus is a historically 1 of 1 bad coach.

this was a decision to preserve the sanity of the players moreso than wins.
This wasn't for the players sanity it was for public optics and the blame game. Even Jerry Jones with all the crazy stuff he's doing ain't out here doing crap like this.

The Pistons in the NBA had a historically bad season last year with the previous coach and even he got to finish out the season before the team moved on.

II guess it's shyt posting to say an organization should act with a level of dignity instead of trying to make a a spectical to mask front office mistakes.

They almost beat the best team in the NFC and you saying he lost the locker room. Didn't look like it to me.

He clearly was getting fired but there wasn't a point to firing him 70% into the season. What do you gain for the 30% of the games left when your record has pretty much eliminated you from the playoffs?
shyt posting ass goofy

They need to get rid of Poles for keeping him going into this season. I wouldn’t trust him to bring in a competent coach. That’s just me though

Was it Poles or ownership? Keep in mind they've done the "keep a lame duck coach when drafting the QB of the future" thing before Poles was GM.

I think he should get another year. The team is built well minus O-line but again that was a problem before Poles.

A better head coach would have this team in the playoffs as a wild card.

What a stupid firing. Might as well let him finish out the season and fire him after. They not making the playoffs anyway. The didn't do shyt basically as they aren't gaining anything for doing this. Clearly not gonna hire the interim coach.

Have you looked at their remaining schedule? It's brutal and they got like 8 losses. If they didn't fire him when it meant something just let him finish out the season. They aren't going to hire someone else right now and with Caleb they'll swing big on a coach and not default to the interim.

Firing him with 5 games left in the regular season is classless. It was obvious he should have been fired well before then but they held on. The sort of incompetence people running the team doing stuff like this will continue to fail at running the team.

Posting this WOAT level opinion, and then trying to defend it is almost as bad as not calling the timeout and then trying to defend it. We sure this isn't actually Eberflus? :mjlol:

I don't know why you keep asking this question when it's been answered over and over.
You worried about the Bears maintaining some type of decorum after yesterday's disaster of an ending? What are you, high? :heh:

Go look at the response from fans and players online in light of hearing about the firing. You think they are worried about whether or not it was in poor taste or "classless" lmao. No, you let him finish, you're probably going to see people curse the team on social media, ticket sales plummet, players stop giving AF, etc.
The fans are an angry mob until the team wins.

You know how long the Detroit Lions weren't shyt? Decades of bullshyt leadership and you see how the fans are towards them now? Trust me 5 games wouldn't be the end of the Bears organization. The right hire and a winning record solves all that.

Even the cheap ass Bears owners couldn't take it anymore. He should have been fired last year after that Cleveland debacle or after that butcher job last year up in Detroit. If not then then he definitely should have gotten his walking papers after the bullshyt in Washington or the crap outings against Arizona and New England, but whatever and thank goodness the bum is finally gone.

Finish the season for what? You run the risk of losing the locker room with an idiot coach like that who refuses to admit he made a huge mistake.
That's my biggest problem with him. He refuses to take any accountability for any of his mistakes. If he was at least admitting mistakes and acting like he'd learn from them then I'd be willing to give him some leeway. Instead he's stubborn as fukk and will never admit to being wrong.

His lack of accountability was nasty

He doubled down after the game too on his clock management

He will never get another HC gig again. Then again he is a cac so anything is possible.
