You dont get raped nearly as much.
Black women dont diss Black men as much and not on the same platform..you dont hear Black females on the radio DIRECTLY calling their men bytches and hoes.
9/10 of the songs played in the club are by you..for you

but imma stop here..not because its done..but because your head is probably getting big now
:what:

No but they call us thugs, down low brothas, sperm donors, deadbeats, no good nikkas, dogs, etc. And are you seriously going to act like black women don't consistently bash us openly in the media?

How many news specials talk to black men about why black women have such low marriage rates? It's always black women used as pawns to further vilify us with news specials like that.

Music? And who is the biggest audience? Women.
Do you think guys are the reason why Drake is so big right now? :russ:

And how does that help black men as a whole in society? It doesn't.

Both of yall are right but its retard to try and prove each other wrong. Both situations contribute to a lack of compassion on both sides

:what:

black women have a far better chance of securing employment than black men.

Regardless racism makes sure theyre being under paid, work much harder and hinders most advancements in most of their careers that usually lead to them quitting or being as cut throat as most men on here talk about. You can use the point of "who gives a fukk longs as your working" but you can you even consider that they do as work? Most cases their just there, taking up space to meet the ethnic quota so companies can get contracts and grants. From what my sister tells me her old boss "white male" doesnt even listen to her advice/suggestion to increase company stability without cutting over spending.

Someone else stole her idea "black dude" and he still got ignored until some white dude speaks up on it and gets tasked with making the solutions just to pick my sister to do all the number crunching late nights because he didnt know what the fukk to do but he still gets the pat on the back and promotion while she was still stuck in the cubes.

She has a job but tell me if you was in her position would u still wanna work?

Not saying that you do breh but we need to stop ignoring each other struggles in this society. The more compassionate we are towards each other problems the more solutions we can make. All of this but but but he or she got that shyt needs to stop.

Went from blaming white supremacy to blaming black women #onlyonthecoli

No one turned this into a black men vs. black women discussion until a black feminist derailed the thread and tried to act like black women have a more difficult time in the job market than black men which is completely false. Maybe if you actually followed the conversation and stopped caping for black feminists then you would know that. And there's no excuse for you NOT to see that because that was the 2nd post of this thread.

And since you're a self proclaimed black feminist tell us about the concept of "black male privilege" and give some examples of what that "privilege" entails. And for the record, "not getting raped as much" doesn't really count as a "privilege".

Help me find my way :lupe:
forget all that black feminism. forget all those pre-fabricated concepts and ideas you read in books about sexism, racism, politics, etc. erase everything and start over. forget "choosing an identity". forget "choosing a gang". when you read or hear an idea or concept, don't accept it or reject it just because it typically goes against the agenda of the gang you picked (and this goes for all groups of people). Analyze the info and think critically. Logic over everything. Vet the ideas. When debating with someone, the goal is not to defeat them. the goal is to find the truth. If the other person is debating in good faith just like you then you guys are not adversaries. you will actually be partners in the quest for figuring out the truth eventhough both of you are on different sides of the argument.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The more things change, the more things stay the same. I believe it's called an "illusion of progress".

Black folk will still watch Scandal, say how badass Obama is, and spend money on another pair of Jordan's before even addressing this.

Even if we are qualified for these positions, white people will give us the runaround and say all sorts of things just to hide the fact that we make them uncomfortable and they don't want to deal with us for 8 hours a day.

This doesn't even take into consideration how on an economic level, we're just shut out of competing in the job market collectively due to the fact that education is the key to getting a good paying job and college is just too costly. Therefore, the status quo stays the same. It's by design.

Got shut down for a promotion not once but twice for this very reason. They would rather higher someone Spanish than an African American

I read the post breh, and all she was " try being a woman and black. She isn't a feminist either, just some chick from lsa. Instead of say yeah well we understand how yall feel and inform her about how hard we have it also, yall attacked her. Yall dudes are so defensive as if thats gonna help anything. You call me a feminist but im just a man that is no longer blinded or deaf to how rough its to be our woman have it. Why must we cont to separate ourselves from problems we each face? Who is us to tell her that she doesn't have it hard in the job market or society? Just because we read some numbers on a website of our the struggles we go through? No one has the right to play each other hardships, male or female. Like you know what happened in the 60s and 70s with black women, you know how it shifted the power in the households and community. So why aren't we working towards unity now?

As I said before black people have no privilege male or female, just restrictions.

Yeah i see a lot of black males with degrees who struggle to find jobs.

A huge problem is the interviewer. Your typically gonna be dealing with a white interviewer. They are gonna be more comfortable putting on their own & more confidant that they made the right decision. I've had a lot of interviews. In the jobs I've gotten in the past, the common denominator is the interviewer was usually just cool as hell. They could care less if your black, white, green, etc as long as you can do the job. Unfortunately, these kind of interviewers aren't really that common. Anytime I go to an interview, as a black male you gotta appear as harmless and as less threatening as possible. I do subtle things like wear glasses.
